Patriots News · Kirchner Announces Retirement

Long time Terre Haute North Patriot Softball Coach Jack Kirchner has retired after 25 years with the program.  Coach Kirchner took over the Patriots in 2000 and compiled a career record of 288-141-2.  His teams won four sectional titles (2000, 2003, 2010, 2011); one regional title (2010); one semi-state title (2010) and were state runner-up in 2010.

Additionally, Coach Kirchner has had countless student-athletes go on to play at the next level.  Most notably,  2001 graduate and Ball State Head Coach Megan Ciolli Bartlett, who went on to play at Notre Dame and professionally for the Chicago Bandits.
