The Lady Patriots used a balanced scoring attack to top the short-handed Wildcats Wednesday night in Clinton. Coming off a loss to Zionsville in the Championship game of the Walt Raines Classic last week, the Lady Patriots got off to a quick start despite some cold shooting from 3 point range in the first quarter and cruised to victory from there.
I’Jaynae Campbell led the way with 13 points to go with 6 steals. Preslee Michael was the only other player in double figures with 10 points to go with 4 steals of her own. Anslee Michael contributed a trio of 3-pointers, and Halie Gilbert and Mallory Millington added 8 points each.
The Lady Patriots (9-4) face Southport at home on Saturday in a Conference Indiana matchup. Anslee Michael and Sandy Shepard will be honored on Senior Day at North.
